Sorry Qaid e Azam!
Dearest Qaid E Azam aka Mohammad Ali jinnah,
It is with great sorrow and guilt that I write down some issues that , if you were alive right now, would not have emerged. Or maybe if we had leaders that were like you, Pakistan would have been in a much better state and this letter , instead of being filled with sorrows, guilt and ignominies would have been a letter of gratitude and hopes of having a promising future.
63 years ago you signed the document of an independent nation. Had you known, what Pakistan would become within a matter of 6 decades, you would have left the idea there itself from where it emerged. Do not get me wrong, I lovePakistan and I am a proud Muslim pakistani, I am happy I have an identity but this identity cannot be my savior for long Sir. Remember that ideology of your’s for a better Pakistan? Unity, Faith and Discipline? Well to be honest, Unity in the whole muslim ummah is gone and although with 16 million population, Pakistan struggles to find unity in the basic of matters. Controlling corruption, maintaining justice throughout the nation and Discrimination.
Faith? What faith , there is no faith in Allah SWT anymore, their faith is on money. Bribery is now a ritual in getting jobs in anything and killing people for fame is indirectly becoming a legal act. Putting faith in people who are above their status is a must or else a normal citizen can sack their bags to leave the country or their lives as a whole.Discipline is an extinct issue. When people leave the basic principles of Islam, how will they follow a common thing as such?Talk about keeping your neighborhood, streets dirty, or maybe taking away the rights of others such as plots, jobs, lives, children and what not..
You once said Baba e Qaum that “Come forward as servants of Islam, organise the people economically, socially, educationally and politically and I am sure that you will be a power that will be accepted by everybody”
To be honest with you, we are in all aspects earning severe downfall and shame.Yes, shame. You know why? because anyone who tries to do good for a selfless reason is terminated and people who want money and fame ( by using pakistan as their shield obviously) are given the thumbs up sign. I will not lie though, there are a minority who really do understand the message of Islam and the mission of Pakistan properly and they do work together to help. But at a major level, nobody wants to do it. It is the greed of innerself that has destroyed the nation of pakistan dear Qaid e Azam, and although the argument continues ” HE DID IT” the fact remains it is the matter of their own doings.
The talent is amazing and unchallengeable… the younger generation of pakistan is full of hopes and talent, but the environment in which they breathe in is toxic, fatal and exterminating. A good student cannot go to a good college or get a seat in medical college because either his/ her results have been ‘played’ with or because /heshe does not have the financial means to. Our government is responsible for the difference in poor and rich, the yearly budget plans they come up with is trash and it just makes richer people more rich and poor people die in their own waste.
You also said “No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men” But it is a shame, in our society women are looked down upon. Her status is just to cook, produce children and get beaten or get insulted by her husband.. let us not raise the issue of working ( the men do not get the jobs how will the women) but because she is not involved in matters that can benefit from her wisdom. Infact, it is not just the men who are at fault but it is also the women who waste their time in front of TV watching fantasies that harm their lifestyle and kids and by gossiping about people’s lives and harming her own and the others’.. how do we then succeed?
I will wrap up now Sir, I can go on and on with my side of the story about how Pakistan is in tatters now. You did say once that no power can undo Pakistan, maybe no one could because we were strong once but now ANY power can undo us and it is because we are weak, from the inside and from outside! Our presidents beg organizations to give them money while they use that money for their own lavish lifestyle, our leaders bow down to other nations and in return they have given away Pakistan’s respect and safety.Presidents come and go, some of them sell our people to others for money, while some love the fact they are now in the ‘kursi’ and hence they are free from any allegations so they do whatever they wish..
I want to say I am sorry from the deepest core of my heart, about how Pakistan is and how it is going to become. The hope of a better pakistan is now gone, because now the people are becoming selfish, greedy and monstrous. They watch injustice on the streets yet they do nothing and encourage it.. what is worse when kids help in crimes you do know it is going nowhere now.
Please forgive us…those who want a better Pakistan for this is not the Pakistan any of us envisaged. Please do not ask Allah SWT to question us on the day of Judgement about Pakistan for we do try and we do pray but hopes are suddenly vanishing and who knows maybe in 10 years pakistan may not be on the maps. ( Allah forbids!) , if Allah wills and our deeds are satisfying, we might save Pakistan but if we do not at the right time that is NOW we may not be able to.
So once again Baba e Qaum, Sorry for everything..
A daughter of a dying nation…
